This Thursday the 16th of March Glenart College is going green to raise money for Heart to Hand.
Have a read of the fantastic work already being done by Heart to Hand from Marion in a letter she shared with us in Glenart College.
“Please let everyone know that every penny raised is spent buying food, blankets and lots of other much needed humanitarian aid which we then load up onto lorries before transporting overland to Turkey to reach those affected by the recent horrific earthquake.
So far this year we have sent nine articulated lorries to Poland where food and humanitarian aid was distributed among Ukrainian refugees that are camping out. We also sent aid into Ukraine itself to towns and cities with no food, electricity and water.
The work is ongoing and the price of diesel continues to rise which drives up the costs at our end. But that does not deter us from reaching out to the families who desperately need our help. These aid deliveries are only made possible by people who see the need to give.
Please tell everyone working with you on these fund raising activities that we are so very grateful for your kindness and are inspired by your continued generosity.

Students can support by bringing in €2 and wearing in green for the day, guessing how many shamrocks are on the poster for 50c to win circuits tickets and by buying from our tuck shop which is open for one day only!
